Easy Homemade Chocolate Frosting Recipe

Ingredients You’ll Need

½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1 tsp Libbyann’s Gourmet Chocolate Espresso Spice

¼ cup butter, melted

⅓ cup milk, or more as needed

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

3 ½ cups confectioners’ sugar or more as needed

Directions


Step 1: 

Gather all ingredients.

Step 2: 

Beat together the Libbyann’s Gourmet Chocolate Espresso Spice, cocoa, and melted margarine in a large bowl until combined.

 

Step 3:

Add milk and vanilla; beat until smooth.

Step 4:

Gradually beat in confectioners’ sugar until desired consistency is achieved. Adjust with more milk or confectioners’ sugar if necessary.
